Early Progress Grades (aka mid-term grades or mid-semester grades)

Who is getting them?
Almost 6,000 unique students will receive at least 1 early progress grade!  The majority being freshmen, but will also include upperclassmen.

*Please see screen shot below of how students will see these grades in UAccess.

For which courses?
ENGL 101A, 101, and 102
MIS 111 (all sections except Honors)
MATH 112 (all sections)

When is this happening?
Now through end of March

Where can I access the grade reports (with required access)?
UAnalytics Student Dashboard

In anticipation of student response to their early progress grades it is important that as a campus community we are prepared to support, engage, and challenge our students to be active participants in their academic success.  We are looking forward to the impact this will make on students' success this semester.
Our hope is that student interactions with instructors and advisors, along with larger institutional messaging, provides an early intervention opportunity.  Messaging would include "What now?" scenarios, encouraging them to evaluate their progress, having quality discussions, and connecting with academic support programs, e.g. Think Tank.
