The Pre-Health Professions Advising Center is pleased to announce the opening of our application process for the Patient Experience Internship, a two-semester clinical internship for students pursuing careers in the health professions.
PATIENT EXPERIENCE (PX) INTERNSHIP (up to 40 Students)

Open to students in any health career path although because of the total hour commitment, particularly helpful for students planning to become PA's.  This is a great opportunity to become familiar with the hospital environment and interacting primarily with patients, but also with the providers in the unit.  Requires a two-semester commitment:  Spring, 2018 and Fall, 2018 (not summer) and a total of 240 patient contact hours.  IF you will graduate in May or August of 2018, please do not apply for this internship.  Please note that we will offer a summer version of this class (2 units, 90 hours) in summer, 2018.
