[Agvisors] UPDATE: Transfer Orientation List August 14, 2017

Greetings Agvisors,

Attached is an updated version of the Transfer Orientation student list. Two additional students signed up this afternoon, with a total of 50 students.  Being that it is the last TR orientation prior to the beginning of the term, the online sign-up form will close on Sunday by 5pm.   The TR college meeting will be from 1-2:45pm at Marley 230 with advising at 3pm.  Students may be referred to Forbes 202 after advising to register for classes (similar set up as the FR orientation - 3 to 5pm).

Students that would like to register for an orientation date after Sunday 5pm, will need to contact our office at 520-621-3616. A message will be noted on the online form.  We will provide them with the option to attend the TR session on Monday 8/14 or the FR orientation college meeting on 8/15 (9:45-11am).  Either session that they choose at that point will require manual enrollment from our office, since they will not have this option through the UA orientation office nor the next steps center.

Along these lines, the last FR orientation session is on Tuesday 8/15.  CALS currently has 2 students on the list (the lowest it has ever been for a final session).  The UA orientation director confirmed that the online registration is closed for students, but they can still register by contacting Dolores Machado  or Damien Snook at 520-626-0849.  If I may be of assistance with this process please let me know.

This upcoming week will be productively busy for all, but we will still do our best to prepare students as they transition to the CALS family.  Thank you for all you do and look forward to seeing you at the orientation sessions if not at the Agvisors meeting/training on Wednesday.
