Friendly reminders:
If you have not filled out the google form for your ADVIP clean-up project department meeting refer to the link<https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1x77idVoq9ZEIXWvY2NCyOkKD8mPYy0o5AGruDOkzbs4/edit> at your earliest convenience. Meredith and Pam would like to schedule the individual unit meetings during this Fall term.

Advisors, curriculum representative(s) and course scheduler should be present. Department head or school director is also welcomed to attend the meeting.

This Thursday 11/3 from 12-1pm at Saguaro Hall 219 there will be an Agvisors brown bag. Dessert will be provided.  The discussion topic will be on ADVIP 'structures'.  The intent is to come up with a college-wide template to simplify the general headings as best we can.

There have been several discussions with key stakeholders about the need to improve the ADVIPS and transfer articulation rules in preparation for degree map development.  Based on these discussions and our need to re-deploy personnel for this project, we have decided to move forward with our request to remove the link to Smart Planner on the Student Service Center and have placed the following message on the Four-Year Plan tab for each program in Degree Search:

Archived plans are available on Degree Search 2011-2016 for many degree plans. These are sample plans. Please work with your academic advisor<http://advising.arizona.edu/advisors/major> for more specific and up-to-date requirements.
We appreciate your support as we move through this institutional effort to simplify and clean up the ADVIPS and write more transfer rules.
