This webcast seeks to engage us in a conversation about the needs, desires and nuances affecting international students as they enroll in U.S. universities.  The speaker, Dr. Melissa Borgia, holds a Ph.D. in Composition and Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages, and has taught English and ESL.  Her session will feature academic strategies for faculty and staff and highlight research designed to advice on building effective student support services.

The discussion to follow is designed as an opportunity to share what is happening across the University of Arizona to support our increasing international student population, to learn from each others best practices and to identify common concerns from which we can look to build better services for students.  Dr. Rachel Beech, Director of International Undergraduate Admissions will facilitate this conversation.
