[Agvisors] Spring 2016 New student Orientations - TR, International and FR

Greetings Agvisors and Happy New Year!

Hope you all had a restful holiday break.  Attached are the 3 student lists for the pending orientation sessions for Spring 2016 new students.  Please verify that the listed advisor and location is accurate.  Send updates to both Maria Bueno (mbueno at email.arizona.edu<mailto:mbueno at email.arizona.edu>) and myself.

All three lists may end up with more students as they are updated daily by the enrollment management team (orientation unit).  I also noticed that many students for the international and FR sessions were admitted as 'no major selected' in the College of Letters, Arts and Sciences so we could very likely end up with some of them as well.

Plan to be available for the advising timeframe at all sessions even if you currently do not have students listed.  Updated lists will be sent out the business day prior to each session. Thanks in advance!

Dates with advising time:

*         International - Thursday 1/7 at 1pm (5 students on the list not including those in exchange programs - list has not been sent to colleges). Exchange students are still referred to departments in case they need assistance with the course planning.

*         Transfer - Friday 1/8 at 3pm (24 students on the list)

*         Freshmen -  Monday 1/11 at 2:30pm (12 students on the list)

On a side note, the Fall 2015 probation report with student status recommendations from the Academic Standards Committee will be sent out to the unit advisors with a CC to department heads/school directors by Tuesday afternoon.
