[Agvisors] Transfer Orientation August 15

Hi Agvisors,

Happy Friday!  Attached is the transfer orientation list for this upcoming Monday, August 15.  Please verify that all advisor names and locations are correct.

Since this is the final orientation session, I will leave registration open through Sunday to try and get as many students signed up as possible.  I will send a finalized list again on Monday morning.

Advising will take place at 3pm on Monday afternoon.

The Office of Admissions is still admitting students, so as a reminder, any transfer students who aren't able to attend the August 15 session will need to schedule a one-on-one appointment with you.  I would recommend that you require students to be matriculated before you meet with them (this means that they have paid their enrollment fee and done the Transfer Student Academic Preview in their NextSteps Center).  That is the requirement for signing up for orientation, so it should be the requirement for meeting with you as well.  They won't be able to enroll until they complete these steps anyway, so it's better that they do it as soon as possible.
