Subject: Organizational Changes for the Registrar's Office

As we gear up for the new academic year, I have some exciting organizational changes to share.
Rachel Hamm has been promoted to Assistant Registrar.  Rachel has most recently been serving as a Senior Graduation Services Advisor, leading their automation efforts and also conducting degree checkouts.  She will continue in this role and will also oversee the transcript evaluation process. Rachel began her career with the Registrar’s Office in transcript evaluation 6 years ago, so she has extensive knowledge of the area and will bring her more recent project management skills to the table.  Rachel has also twice served as an interim assistant registrar.
Jody Payne has been promoted to Senior Associate Registrar.  Jody has served as an assistant registrar for 6 years.  In her new role she will continue to oversee four service units and will take on an expanded in role in representing the Registrar’s Office on university committees and in the absence of the Registrar.
Cori Cashen has been promoted to Associate Registrar.  Cori has been with the Registrar’s Office for 12 years and is our lead UAccess configuration manager. She oversees grading and reporting functions and has more recently taken on veteran certification and residency classification.
Fernando Chavez has been promoted to Associate Registrar.  Fernando has been with the Registrar’s Office for 17 years.  Fernando will continue to oversee Room and Course Scheduling and Course Approval services, as well as serving on special initiatives to upgrade classroom technology and improve utilization.
Irene Delgado has been promoted to Associate Registrar.  Irene has served as an assistant registrar for 6 years.  She oversees the Registration and Transcripts unit will be helping to move all of our remaining paper processes into electronic processes.
All of these promotions are well-deserved and overdue.  It is my true pleasure to work with these people and we look forward to continuing to serve students and the campus community to provide the highest level of service possible. Please join me in congratulating these folks!
