[Agvisors] CALS COMM119 section webform

Hi All,

The webform for the first round of the CALS section of COMM119 discussion sections was closed on Friday 4/1 at 12:00 and the 22 students that submitted the form have been forward to Nancy Kelly in COMM for enrollment by the end of the day tomorrow.  The webform will reopen on 4/7 to reflect the 2nd round of submissions and the close date.  The close date will be Tuesday 4/19 at 12:00 noon so that the list can be sent to COMM just after that.  Any students that would like to take any of the remaining seats will have to wait until the week of 4/25 when registration would become available to all majors.  On or after Thursday 4/7 please announce this second opportunity to your students.  We want to wait until Thursday to give Nancy Kelly enough time to enroll the first 22 students, so that they don't think they were not given a seat in the class and discussion section.   What I will send to my students is below, feel free to use this to announce it to your students.


Attention students interested in taking COMM119-public speaking in Fall 2016.

Please use this link https://cals.arizona.edu/arec/comm119-fall-2016 to submit your request to be added to a waitlist for a CALS only section of COMM119.  All enrolled students will attend the lecture on Mondays 2-2:50 and one of two discussion sections.  See the link above for information and to submit the form.  The deadline to submit the form is Tuesday April 19th at 12:00 noon Tucson time.
