[Agvisors] UA Career Fair and Career Events

Hi CALS Students:

A quick reminder today and tomorrow are the UA Spring Career Fair held in the Student Union Ballroom from 11am to 4pm March 31 and April 1.  There will be over 100 employers looking for students from all majors.   Take this opportunity to learn about Internships and Full-Time positions companies and organizations have available.

Career Fair tips:

*         Bring copies of your updated professional resume

*         Dress appropriately (Business casual minimum, Business Professional preferred)

*         Be prepared to answer the questions "Tell me about yourself" and "what do you want to do after you graduate"

Two Companies participating this year who are looking for CALS students specifically are:

*         Crop Production Services: as a premiere supplier of agricultural inputs this company needs students who want to work with producers in the field to help continue to support and grow their global business, and will only be at the career fair Tuesday (majors of interest: Plant Science, Sustainable Plant Systems, Ag. Tech Management).

*         RDO Equipment: the largest John Deere dealer network in the U.S. sells, rents, and services John Deere Agriculture and Construction Equipment in the U.S. and is expanding their global operations.  They need talented driven students to join their leadership development team. (majors of interest: Agribusiness, Ag. Tech Management, Retailing, Sustainable Plant Systems, Bio systems Engineering).
If your major is not listed above but you are interested in learning more stop by the company booths and talk to the recruiters.

Representatives from TEK Systems will be presenting "How to Brand Yourself on LinkedIn"
