[Agvisors] CALS 195a Academic Plan Assignment

Hi Agvisors,

I hope your week is off to a good start.  This is just a reminder that the students in the CALS 195a probationary class are busy completing their academic plans so they can set up an appointment with you to discuss them.  As an assignment for this course students are required to meet with you, their major advisor, to discuss their probationary academic plan.  The plan indicates their B deficit and GPA and includes a personal statement that gives you some background on their situation.  Upon completion of the meeting you will sign the academic plan and they will return it to Nancy, Katie or me when they complete their academic agreement.

Please be flexible with your scheduling and allow these students to meet with you one-on-one to discuss the academic plan and the students place in your major.  An academic plan is recommended for all CALS students on academic probation, but it is a course requirement for those enrolled in CALS 195a so it is essential that you be accommodating in meeting with them before the assignment due date of February 10.
