[Agvisors] Transfer Orientation Dates for Spring 2016

Hi Agvisors,

We have all survived the first half of the first week of the semester!  I hope things haven't been too hectic!

It seems crazy to be thinking about this now, during the first week of the fall semester, but the UA has already started admitting students for Spring 2016.  We already have 15 transfer students who have been admitted for the upcoming term, so I have scheduled the transfer orientation dates so they can begin registering once they complete their NextSteps Center (which is available to them now).

Please block the following times on your schedule NOW! :)
Friday, October 16, 1pm college meeting, 3pm advising meeting
Friday, October 30, 1pm college meeting, 3pm advising meeting
Friday, November 13, 1pm college meeting, 3pm advising meeting
Friday, December 11, 1pm college meeting, 3pm advising meeting
Friday, January 8, 1pm college meeting, 3pm advising meeting (The Transfer Welcome event will be held on Saturday, January 9, 2016)

Please block all of these times on your calendar now; students change their minds about their major the day of orientation all of the time, so major advisors should be available during all orientation sessions just in case a student who wasn't expected shows up anyway.
