Successful candidates will begin the 2 year Management Training Program with a 120 day Orientation/Skills Development Program at Tanimura & Antle’s California & Arizona Agricultural Operations before assignment to Tanimura & Antle’s Livingston, Tennessee Hydroponic Greenhouse Operations. At Livingston, the candidate will receive on the job training and experience in all aspects of the Greenhouse Operations. During this training period, the candidate will perform trials and analysis and will be expected to present their findings to Management for process improvement.
Upon successful completion of Tanimura & Antle’s Greenhouse Management Training Program, the candidate can expect to be placed into a management role suited to the candidate’s skills. This could be a role at the existing Greenhouse, a management role at a future expansion greenhouse or within Tanimura & Antle’s California/Arizona Operations.

** First Annual CALS Research Poster Forum

UA Student Union Ball Room from 11 am to 2 pm
The CALS Research Office is happy to announce that we are beginning a new annual event this year - the CALS Research Poster Forum.
The goal of this event is to showcase all research at CALS, including research done in academic departments and extension, and to foster collaboration. Approximately a month before this event we will send out a call for electronic abstract submission.
1. All Faculty, Specialists and Agents are encouraged to submit at least one entry as a senior author
2. One of the authors (faculty, student, postdoc or staff) will be expected to be present by the poster during the forum
3. The Poster Forum will be open to all CALS personnel (Faculty, Staff, Administrators, Postdocs, Students, etc.), and your colleagues from other colleges are welcome to attend
4. Posters presented at other meetings in the recent past can be displayed
5. Submitted abstracts will be reviewed by The Office of Technology Transfer Licensing Managers to identify opportunities to protect Intellectual Property
6. Entries will be accepted on a first come first serve basis depending on availability of space

AVID is an academic support program that prepares 6th through 12th grade
students for college success through a regularly scheduled AVID elective class during the school day. AVID tutors provide support to students who are working hard to go to college and have the potential to succeed in college.
