Greetings Agvisors:
Please refer the STU 210 students to schedule an appointment with either
Kristen or myself to complete their transfer orientation. To schedule an
appointment refer them to call 520-621-3616 or in person at Forbes 211.
We plan to offer group orientation sessions for all new transfer students on
various dates and times but it's most likely we will implement this for the
Fall 2015 admits. This will be an agenda item at the upcoming Agvisors
meeting (on 9/23) to determine if we should implement this with the Spring
2015 admits.
In the meantime refer them to schedule an appointment by calling
520-621-3616 or in person at Forbes 211.
Thanks in advance!
Best,
Nancy

Subject: [UPAC] STU 210 Students
Greetings:
I had the opportunity to speak with students in PCC's STU 210 Transfer
Strategies course this past week. As many of you already know, students in
STU 210 are some of the best prepared and focused transfer students on the
planet.
These students are busy completing their UA applications and working on a
rather compressed timeline so they will be eligible to register with our
current continuing students during priority registration for spring 2015.
This message is simply to let you know that they will be contacting their
academic advisors within the next several weeks to schedule advising
meetings so they will be ready for priority registration. The following
website contains everything you ever wanted to know about STU 210 Transfer
Strategies: http://admissions.arizona.edu/transfer/STU210
If I can be of any assistance, please do not hesitate to ask. Thank you.
Roxie
