Subject: [UPAC] FW: INTERNSHIP: SR. JOSE'S HOMELESS WOMEN'S SHELTER

Hi Everyone:

Please can you alert your students to this wonderful opportunity to volunteer for the Sr. Jose Women's Shelter. They are in need of female volunteers and interns at least 18 years of age to help with fundraising and events, research and grant writing, website and Facebook development, and helping to serve the homeless women who use their shelter.

For more information on this wonderful opportunity, please see below. You may also visit http://srjosewomensshelter.org/volunteer/.

Best,
Pam

Expanding women's shelter needs interns and volunteers to help provide services to Tucson's homeless women.

Located near downtown and open 5 days a week, the Shelter offers homeless women the chance to:

							Shower
							Do laundry
							Get a meal
							Sleep overnight during cold months
							Cool off during hot months
Spend time, share stories and scout out resources with others.

We'd do more for more of our ladies if we had more help.

Could you help? Do you have a few hours? Could you help us establish a website, a Facebook page? Could you help us make coffee and p&J sandwiches? Could you help us with research and grant writing?

Could you help? Please get in touch with Judy Clark at jdthclark at gmail.com.

Thank you
