HI,

It has recently come to our attention that there have been changes made to the BYU online courses that call into question the integrity and rigor of the courses.
Some of the issues include allowing students to retake tests and finals for a fee, and having a low overall percentage for a grade of C or higher (55% in some cases).

Please do not recommend BYU online math courses to students.  We will honor the approvals already submitted by students, but moving forward, will no longer pre-approve these courses as satisfying a UA math course or requirement.
Please direct students to placement at math.arizona.edu for questions.
