Honoring an Outstanding Graduating Transfer Student

 

 

Provost’s Award

Honoring an outstanding University of Arizona graduating transfer student

 

The University of Arizona is proud to announce the inaugural Provost’s
Award, for an outstanding transfer student from an Arizona Community
College. Nominations will be accepted by members of the university
community. Nominations are due April 4th at 5:00pm. Finalists will be
interviewed by the committee on April 7th and 8th. The nomination committee
will meet and determine a candidate who will be honored at the University
Commencement Ceremony on May 17th at 7:30pm.

 

Qualifications for this award include:                                  

·         Transferred to the UA with at least 36 transferable units from an
Arizona Community College

·         Graduating with a bachelor’s degree in spring/summer 2014

·         Showed great perseverance and commitment to their academic studies

·         Contributed to the betterment of the University of Arizona
community

·         Committed to demonstrating Wildcat spirit post-graduation

·         Demonstrated above-average scholastic ability, citizenship,
leadership, and promise for the future 

·         Contributed through co-curricular and community activities and
leadership
