Subject: [uaac] general update

Hello UAAC:

Just a quick update to let you know that plans are underway for messaging to
be sent to the incoming class regarding Tier I seat release periods in July.
I will keep you posted but know that we will be targeting messages first to
freshmen who have less than 13 units (excluding students in Math 100 or
Wildcat Academy) followed a few days later by a broader message announcing a
good time to swap/drop/add Tier I. Seats will not be swept after they are
released in July. While I do not know the date of the releases, I do know
that it will not be the first week of July.

The take away message is the same as always, students should check their UA
email account.

There will be a targeted message sent to transfer students regarding a Tier
I seat release, but as you know, their needs are more complicated. Stefanie
is generating some reports to look at the current matriculation status and
enrollment for the ~2000 admitted transfer students.

I will keep you posted with updates. Please share this information with
advisors in your colleges. As always, your feedback is welcome. Have a
great day!

Roxie
