Dear Advisors,

Please direct interested and eligible transfer students—students with at
least 56 transfer units or a previous bachelor’s degree from an accredited
university—to attend one of the sessions below to learn about what portfolio
submission entails. 

The Writing Program’s Spring 2014 Transfer Portfolio Information Sessions
will be held on the following dates:

January 29th       @ 11:00 a.m.    Modern Languages, Room 378
February 11th     @ 12:00 p.m.    Modern Languages, Room 378
February 26th     @ 3:00 p.m.      Modern Languages, Room 378

for portfolio submission is March 10th 4:00 p.m. Deliver to MLNG, Room 380. 

What is the Transfer Portfolio?
The Transfer Portfolio is a process for eligible transfer students  to earn
a waiver for English 101 and/or  102—The University of Arizona’s
Undergraduate General Education and Foundation Composition Requirement. As
the Transfer Portfolio process does not grant credit for the courses,
students assume the responsibility to meet with an academic advisor to
determine if a waiver fulfills graduation requirements.

Who is eligible for a Transfer Portfolio?
Students must have at least 56 transfer credits to qualify for a Transfer
Portfolio.
