Dear UA Community,

 

All English 101A and 101 seats were released yesterday, but according to
placements, not all students were accommodated. 

 

ENGL101A: According to placements, the 101A students should have been
pre-scheduled if the section time fit in their class schedule. Students
might have to adjust their class schedule to add a section. NOTE: sections
023 and 024 are designated for Wildcat Academy only. 

 

ENGL101: Half of the students placed in 101 were not accommodated. There are
about 40 ENGL101 seats available at the moment for advisors to add students
or for students to add during Change of Schedule.

NOTE: sections 051, 054, 106, and 166 are designated for Wildcat Academy
only.

 

ENGL109H: Per usual, ENGL109H seats will be released during Change of
Schedule. Students who do not take ENGL109H in fall, must plan to take the
course in spring.

 

ENGL102: English 102 has filled. Students should plan to take this course in
spring.

 

Some seats will open up as we drop those today who report or show proof of
transfer credit. 

 

Students have until 4PM Friday, September 5th to add an ENGL class. They
should continue to check for seats up until that date. 

 

Should we receive any new information regarding seat availability for fall,
or spring offerings to accommodate the unmet demand, updates will be posted
via this listserv.
