It is here!! Comm 119 for CALS

Yeah, thanks to Nancy Kelly in communications, we have two sections.  The instructions are below for them to register.  If you have students that want the class but cannot register this week, feel free to send me their id numbers and I can add them for you.  Just make sure you tell me which section.  These are the ONLY two sections that will allow any CALS student to register so please make sure your students do not try calling comm to get into any other sections.  A reminder, these are NOT in the schedule of classes and are not searchable.  Please distribute this to your students.

The CALS students will need directions to register for the lecture/section specific to them as these courses will NOT show in the schedule print in order to alleviate any confusion or "cross - mingling" of the CALS and COMM students. Following are the steps and course #'s they'll need:

1. Go to UAccess Student Center to My Academics and click Plan.

2. Click Shopping Cart and select Term Fall 2014

3. Enter Class # in the white box and it will show the Mass Lecture days/times as well as the coinciding discussion days/times will pop up. Proceed to register as usual. There's no need to register for the discussion section it's automatically connected with this/these two specific Mass Lecture number(s).


The requirement group number has been created and put in place so none other than CALS college students may register for the following course numbers. CALS courses and information are as follows:

Course # - 67941 Comm 119, Section 002 MASS LECTURE meets MW, 1-1:50 pm in Bio West, Room 301 / automatically enrolls students into DISCUSSION SECTION 002A which meets MW, 4-4:50 in Engr, Room 307.

Course # - 67956 Comm 119, Section 003 MASS LECTURE meets MW, 1-1:50 pm in Bio West, Room 301 / automatically enrolls students into DISCUSSION SECTION 003A which meets WF, 1-1:50 in Chavez, Room 103.
