·         Apr 30: Registration open for all degree seeking readmits and transfer students for Fall 2014

Become a Recycling Ambassador for Greening the Game!

For Fall 2014
$8.00/hour
 
APPLICATION DUE THURSDAY, APRIL 24TH, 2014 at 5pm.
Interviews will be held Monday April 28th to Monday May 5th.
 
Greening the Game is an initiative run through Students for Sustainability, an ASUA program. The goal of this program are to reach out to fans and educate them during tailgating and to clean the stadiums after the game. This is a fun and a hands on job that will teach students about how to be educational leaders and inform them about sustainable initiatives on the UA Campus.

The College of Public Health, in partnership with the American Lung Association of Southern Arizona, will offer an opportunity for students to earn 1-2 credits to be trained Open Airways For Schools facilitators.  

 

Training will consist of 5 online modules and two 1.5-hour in-person trainings with Donna Bryson, RN, of the American Lung Association of Southern Arizona.  Students will earn 1 elective credit by facilitating the Open Airways curriculum at a TUSD school with a small group of children with asthma.  

 

The curriculum consists of 6 40-minute lessons, taught by two trained students, once a week for 6 weeks.  Students can earn 2 credits by teaching the set of 6 lessons to 2 separate groups (a total of 12 40-minute lessons). 

 

This course, CPH 459/559 (Section 2), is open to any University of Arizona student, undergraduate and graduate.

ASUA's Students for Sustainability internship is a leadership program that promotes sustainability on campus. Interns can be involved in projects such as our community garden, planning UA Earth Day, or helping make athletic events greener. CALS PEER MENTOR PROGRAM LOOKING FOR STUDENTS FOR FALL 2014 AND SPRING 2015!

Have you enjoyed your experience as a student? Are you interested in earning a minimum of 3 units of upper division credits while helping out fellow CALS students? If you answered yes, then read along!
 
The College of Agriculture and Life Sciences is looking for studentPeer Mentors for the Fall 2014 and Spring 2015 terms.  The application with additional requirements can be emailed to you or picked up in person at Forbes Room 211.
