Subject: [UPAC] B-Deficit Information in Student Services Center

 

During the development of Academic Agreements it was decided to provide
B-deficit information in Student Services Center (for advisors and staff)
and in Student Center (for students). We are pleased to communicate that
those views are now available. 

 

In Student Services Center this data can be viewed on the Academics tab
under the Statistics column:



 

The data in Student Services Center is dynamic by term. The B-deficit
information presented above is from the end of Spring 2013. However if a
previous term is selected using the Term Summary on the Academics tab the
B-deficit information will change accordingly. Below is the same student's
information at the conclusion of Fall 2012:

 



 

Students can see their current B-deficit information on the "My Academics"
page in Student Center where we have added a GPA Calculation and B-Deficit
"Statistics" table:



 

If the student has a GPA greater than or equal to 2.0 then the B-Deficit
value will be blank. This is how it appears in both Student Services Center
and Student Center:
