Dear Advisors,

 

Please pass this message along to your new transfer students who might be
eligible for the Transfer Portfolio option.

 

What is the Transfer Portfolio?
The Transfer Portfolio is a process for eligible transfer students to earn a
waiver for English 101 and/or  102—The University of Arizona’s Undergraduate
General Education and Foundation Composition Requirement. As the Transfer
Portfolio Examination does not grant credit for the courses, students assume
the responsibility to meet with an academic advisor to determine if a waiver
fulfills graduation requirements.

 

Who is eligible for a Transfer Portfolio?
Students must have at least 56 transfer credits to qualify for a Transfer
Portfolio.

 

Information Sessions

Three information sessions are scheduled to talk to students about the
Transfer Portfolio.  Only students with 56 or more TRANSFER credits are to
attend a meeting.  This is taking the place of the one on one meetings.

 

1. September 10 at 10:00 a.m.

2. September 27 at 11:00 a.m.

3. October 7 at 4:00 p.m.

 

Locations are TBA. Please call 520-621-3553 for location information the day
before each session.
