Call for Nominations


Advising Community,

The two-year term for Candace Landwerlen and Sara Yerger ends this December.
There will be two UPAC co-chair positions available beginning January 2014.
The position is a two-year term. We are seeking nominations to fill these
positions. This is a great opportunity for leadership in the advising
community. General responsibilities are listed below nomination information.
You have two options for nominations:

 

Nominate yourself

-        Nominate a colleague

 

The nomination is simple and can be completed in less than 2 minutes at this

Nominations will be accepted until November 13.

People who have been nominated with be notified by email and asked to submit
a nomination statement. Those statements will be due November 20, and must
be submitted to Candace Landwerlen  <mailto:CJL at email.arizona.edu>

Statements from the slate of candidates will be sent out via the UPAC
listserv November 21 and online voting will be from November 21 - December
4, 2013

Co-Chair Responsibilities (general)

Time commitment is minimal

 MC during general UPAC meeting

 Speakers - contact and confirm presenters for UPAC meetings

 Agenda - finalize the agenda and send out meeting invite

 Note taker - record the notes from the UPAC meeting and prepare minutes to
be posted on the ARC  website and sent out to the UPAC listserv 

Help coordinate and staff ARC events as needed

Plan future UPAC meetings with co-chairs

Participate in university and college committees as needed
