Hello Agvisors!
At yesterday's Agvisors meeting we debuted a new website dedicated just to the Agvisors and advising information. This website is for advisors in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences only; it is meant to be a resource for advisors so you can keep up-to-date on all CALS and University policies and procedures.
To get to the website you must type the hyperlink directly into your browser, there is no link from the main CAS website as we only want Agvisors to have access to the content. To get to the Agvisors site please visit https://cals.arizona.edu/cas/agvisors.
Please do not share this link with students! The site is meant to provide you with information so you can better serve students; it is not a resource for students. Highlights of the site include a page for items dispersed at Agvisors meetings, frequently used forms and their instructions, frequently used policies and their procedures, links to sites that can be helpful while advising, and announcements that have come through the listserv.
Remember that the CAS website (cals.arizona.edu/cas) also has a lot of useful information and that website can be accessed by anyone. This is where information on advising, the transfer process, readmission and internships can be found.
If you have any suggestions for additional content please let us know! This is a work in progress so we would appreciate any feedback you can give.
Thanks for all you do to serve CALS students!
Best regards,
Kristen
