A Special Message from Melissa Vito

Summer is here and the campus is full of new students and their families
attending orientation sessions. This is our opportunity to be the welcoming,
helpful, and accommodating professionals that our students and families
expect.

You've likely noticed there are many prospective students visiting campus.
Our admissions and enrollment teams are continuing to work hard to yield the
class. Prospective families' decision to come to the UA is often based on
their visit experience, so please offer these visitors the same service,
kindness, and Wildcat spirit we exude all year.

Coming to campus for the first time and navigating all that happens can
sometimes be stressful for our newest Wildcats. I thank you in advance for
setting an example of guidance, customer service, and support! Your smile
and direction can make all the difference.

Keep in mind; it has become more popular for students and their families to
attend more than one orientation session (meaning at more than one
university!). We are not always the only orientation they will attend -
which is why their experience is especially important. Over the years,
students have shared with me that their positive experiences with our staff
have sincerely impacted their decision to become a Wildcat!

Thank you for your time and dedication to enhance the new and prospective
student experience. The hard work you do on a daily does not go unnoticed.
UA Student Affairs is exceptional!

Sincerely,

Melissa Vito, Ed.D.

P.S. I know that many of you are already going the "extra mile" to help
bring in this class - thank you!!
