[Agvisors] Advisor Assignments on UAccess Student Center

Hi Nancy,

Looks fine! FYI - we are creating a new site for the Sustainable Plant
Systems major, where students can get more information sometime this
summer/fall. Both PLS and SWES sites don't have much detail for this major
since it's a secondary program for both units. However, I'll forward the new
link as an update to you and Kristen when it's available.

Greetings Agvisors:

 

Advisor Assignments (advisor contact information) for students in your
majors/minors will be visible this week, most likely by Wednesday.  The
information that students will see will also be available for advisors to
view.  Refer to one of your students  to view what comes up for your
major/minor.  It will be visible in UAccess Student Services Center (see
display below).  

 

On the right-hand column, there will be a section for "Advisor(s)". After
clicking the "details" link you will be able to review the information. The
information advisors see on these pages will be the same information
students see on their end.  If you would like your information (aside from
phone number) to be modified, including the brief welcome message, please
let Kristen Geary or I know.  Remember that the welcome message is limited
to 200 characters.  If you would like to update the phone number being
displayed, you can do so by logging into your UAccess Employee account and
updating it there.  

 

Advisor Assignments uses the "work" phone number.  From UAccess Employee -
log into Employee - Main Menu - Self Service - Personal Information - Phone
Numbers.   Check to make sure a 'Work' number exists. If it does, edit it to
your preferred number.  If it doesn't exist, click "Add a Phone Number".
>From there you will be able to select "work" as the phone type. Once you are
satisfied with your update(s) click Save.  I obtained these instructions
from a manual J
