Colleagues,

 

Several advisors asked if they could attend this week's Institute for the
Recruitment of Teachers information sessions.  I invite UA faculty and staff
to come attend. You can learn about the organization and explore it's
potential contribution to your department's graduate school preparation
services. Thankfully, IRT's program deadline is April 1st, so your students
will have plenty of time to prepare their applications.  Again, they usually
work with students in the social sciences, humanities, arts and math (not
science, engineering or technology). Attached is an IRT newsletter and a lis
of the academic fields that IRT supports. 

 

IRT Information Sessions:  

 

Wednesday January 30th and Thursday January 31st 

12:00pm to 1:00pm 

Copper Room at the Student Union.  

 

We will sign students up for individual interviews at the sessions and I
look forward to seeing you!
