Greetings Agvisors:

 

Attached is the updated Minor sheet that the UA will be using to post on the
Advising Resource Center.  It is very similar to the one I had emailed last
week (which was the original template that the ARC staff had sent out).  I
am sure you received the email below directly from Roxie and Karen in ARC
and I wanted to clarify the duplication of efforts.  Please copy me on the
email you send to advising at email.arizona.edu so a copy can be saved in CAS.
Thanks in advance!

 

For PLSC, SPS and MICR it will be easy for you to copy and save the
information you had formally filled out on the other template. Good thing
this new template seems more simple.

Dear Advisor:

 

Based on feedback from advisors and students we are adding a directory for
minor programs of study to the ARC website.   You will see from the attached
template that we are hoping to capture all of the pertinent information for
all minor programs of study.   The goal is to have one location where
students can go to find information about minors, how to declare them, which
advisor to see for declaring, special requirements (if applicable), double
dipping policies, and so forth.   We will, of course, link directly to the
catalog for the official record as well.

 

If possible, please try to complete and return the template to
advising at email.arizona.edu by Friday, March 15th.   Please let me, or Karen,
know if you have any questions.   Thank you so much.
