[Peace Corps Week 2013 Events]

Tues., February 26, 4-7p.m. Peace Corps Fair - UA Student Memorial Union North Ballroom. The fair features interactive cultural exhibits and photography from more than 50 different countries. Participants will talk to volunteers about their experiences while listening to music from around the world. Community organizations and UA Academic Units will be present to talk to you about getting involved in local service and graduate school. This event is free and open to the public. Dessert reception.

Wed., February 27, 9:30-11:00a.m. International Development Mixer - UA Student Union Rincon Room. Thinking about joining Peace Corps? This is your chance to get all your questions answered! Bagels and coffee will be served.

Wed., February 27, 2-4p.m. "Working Effectively Internationally" - UA Student Union Santa Rita Room. Campus talk with Wm. Stacy Rhodes, U.S. Peace Corps Chief of Staff and Operations with Professor Kevin Fitzsimmons. With decades of international experience in Latin America and Africa, come prepared to discuss what works while studying, conducting research and working abroad. Light refreshments served.

Thurs, February 28, 4-6p.m. "Leadership Beyond Peace Corps" - UA Student Union Ventana Room. A presentation and panel discussion with Stacy Rhodes, Dr. Brint Milward, and Dr. George Atkinson about leadership. Light refreshments served.
