Good morning, UPAC colleagues:

 

I wanted to let you all know that the Honors contract process has gone
paperless!  If you're working with a student who is planning to submit an
Honors contract, please refer them to our website.  Paper contracts are no
longer available in our office.  

 

The message below was sent to all Honors students this week.  It provides
details about Honors contract policies and a link to the online form.
Please refer your students to the Honors College with any questions about
this new process, and feel free to contact me if you have any questions
yourselves.

Dear Honors Student,

 

Here at the Honors College, we are excited to announce that our Honors
Contract process has gone paperless!  In addition, we have made several
improvements to our Honors Contracts website, including a FAQ section,
sample Honors contracts, and a page about Standard Contracts for Tier I
General Education Courses.  

 

We will no longer accept paper contracts.  Students will initiate the new
online process by filling in their information and submitting it.  The
instructor will immediately receive an email containing a link to complete
the contract, describing the work the student will complete in order to
receive Honors credit for the course.  The instructor will submit the
contract for approval, and will be notified of its status after it has been
reviewed.

Keep in mind that first-semester freshmen are not eligible to create an
Honors Contract.
