International Student Services (ISS) invites you to join us for a NAFSA
webinar and discussion: 

Today's Chinese Student: Cultural Insights for Better Integration.

DESCRIPTION:  Today's Chinese students are different from the students of
previous decades, and they are enrolling in unprecedented numbers in U.S.
colleges and universities. It is becoming increasingly important for
campuses to understand these students and how to bridge the cultural gap
between them and other international and domestic students. How does group
culture and shared experience affect the cultural and social integration of
Chinese students on your campus? What are some of the best practices you can
implement to gain campus-wide support for orienting and supporting these
students? 

DATE: Tuesday, December 4, 2012

TIME: 1:00-3:30 

LOCATION: Career Services Workshop room, SUMC 411

COST: Free for attendees (ISS will be sponsoring this webinar)

The webinar is scheduled to last approximately 1.5 hours.  Immediately
following the webinar, there will be an hour for discussion of the ways that
we can work together to better serve and support Chinese international
students at the UA.
