Subject: Options for any major
Dear Advising Colleagues:
Best wishes to all during priority registration! I have been asked by the School of Journalism to once again clog your inboxes with the fantastic summer journalism options open to ANY MAJOR! Those students of yours wanting a journalism minor when there isn’t one? Now is the chance to get a taste of such a thing! The list is below and I ask that you announce to students/send to listserve/post on the bathroom walls/tweet or facebook as you see fit. Please note that students (or staff for that matter) who are interested in making money as bloggers (and who isn’t?) would be very interested in JOUR 428, Entrepreneurial Journalism, and students who would like to watch movies and think critically about the ethics portrayed in same would be interested in Jour 439: Media Ethics – The Journalist in American Film. Thanks for all you can do to publicize these offerings listed below!
In your advising debt,
Renee
