All,

As requested, attached are some documents regarding Nursing at Orientation. 

 

Please note, students must attend both the college presentation and advising
session for their admitted major. There is inadequate time to conduct a
proper evaluation for admission and revise their pre-schedule during an
Orientation day. Students need to ensure they are on track for their
admitted major first.

 

Nursing college and advising sessions will be reserved for admitted majors
only. If a student is not admitted, they will be sent back to their admitted
college for these sessions. If you find that a student is eligible, please
have them email entry at nursing.arizona.edu after New Student Orientation and
we will be more than happy to re-evaluate them for admission and work with
them to adjust their schedules for our programs. 

 

Attached are several documents that will aid you in this process. Copies of
these documents will be available via emailed to any interested students.

1.       Advisor Guide to Nursing Admissions - describes our policies and
procedures with students interested in Nursing

2.       CON Orientation of Non-Majors - a handout for students and parents
interested in the major

3.       Flyer - a program flyer

4.       Nursing Orientation Presentation - a copy of our college session
presentation
