Please share with your 14-17year old students interested in Agriculture, Veterinary Medicine & Life Sciences. This is a free two week summer camp that is sponsored by University of Arizona and USDA. One week is spent in Yuma Arizona and second week is spent in Tucson. If you have questions please feel free to contact me.

AgDiscovery 2012

The AgDiscovery Program application process has begun. Students can apply on-line or by mail. 
The deadline for applications is March 16, 2012. 


AgDiscovery is an outreach program sponsored by USDA/APHIS and partnering universities to help students learn about careers in animal science, veterinary medicine, plant pathology and agribusiness. This 2 – 4 week program allows participants ages 12-17 to live on a college campus and learn about Agricultural science from university professors, practicing veterinarians and professionals working for the U.S. Government. Students chosen to participate in AgDiscovery will gain experience through hands-on labs, workshops, field trips and other group and team building activities.
