> The Traveling Scholar program has been discontinued by ABOR. This policy allowed a student to attend a sister institution for a semester to obtain certain courses or participate in relevant experiences for a major that might not be available at the home campus. The student was not required to apply to the other institution and the application of the courses at the home institution was established before the student enrolled. There have only been a handful of students participating in this program for the last five years, so the impact will be negligible.
>
> The UA catalog will continue to have a directory listing for Traveling Scholar with a discontinuation notice, http://catalog.arizona.edu/2012-13/policies/travelschol.htm. The listing will be removed after the spring 2013 semester.
