Subject: [UPAC] ARC Newsletter Wildcat Welcome Article Correction
Good Morning UPAC:
Our apologies, we did not include the correct Wildcat Welcome Article in the
ARC Newsletter.
Below you will find the correct information:
At the start of each school year the University of Arizona celebrates with a
long standing tradition- Wildcat Welcome. For ten days departments,
services and student groups help to connect our newest Wildcats with their
campus community through meaningful and purposeful activities and events.
Wildcat Welcome runs from August 16-24th with multiple free events occurring
each day - a full calendar can be found at http://welcome.arizona.edu.
Below are some events we are highlighting for students this fall.
Wildcat Fiesta
Students and families will be welcomed to the University community with
great food, entertainment and special guests from across campus. The
Wildcat Fiesta will be held on Thursday, August 16th at 6:00pm.
Registration is required.

UA Clicks
On Friday, August 17th all new Wildcats are required to attend UA Clicks, a
mandatory introduction to classroom technologies in and out of the
classroom. The presentation will be facilitated by a faculty member and
current student from the academic college represented at the sessions and
will include mandatory information from the Dean of Students Office.
Students attend a particular UA Click session is based on the academic
college of their major. Please see the chart below for specific check-in
time and location, students will be required to bring their Cat Card for
attendance purposes. If a student is unsure of their academic college they
are directed to UAccess and/or the Next Steps Center to find that
information. Sessions will run for an hour and 15 minutes beginning
immediately after the check-in period closes.
