Greetings Advisors and Student Affairs Colleagues:

 

Since announcing the Beyond Boundaries Symposium scheduled for December
13th, we have received questions regarding who can submit proposals and, can
the deadline be extended.  The short answers are: anyone and yes.  

 

The goal of this symposium is to share information among student service
professionals from PCC and the UA.  We define student service professionals
broadly to include anyone who touches the life of a student.  Whether you
are someone who helps students with their financial aid, manages a tutoring
program, or puts the final signature on their degree check, you are
encouraged to not only attend the symposium, but to also consider
participating either through submitting a proposal to offer a seminar, lead
a round table discussion, or to participate in the Info Fair, or both.

 

Please review the attached symposium announcement and then spend a few
minutes determining how you want to participate so we can make this a
worthwhile and informative event for all.  This is an opportunity for our
campus to showcase programs and services to our PCC colleagues. 

 

The deadline for submitting proposals and registering for a table at the
Info Fair has been extended to Monday, October 3rd.
