Please help me welcome our new Academic Advisor, Jessica Kiesling.  

 

Jessica will start in the Norton School on Tuesday, Sept 20th.  After an
initial orientation period this fall, Jessica will be responsible for
advising FSHD and RCSC pre-majors.  She will also provide instructional
support for Professor Ric Wood as he teaches our pilot course, FCSC 301
Applying Critical Thinking.

 

Jessica hails from Iowa where she earned her BS Degree in Agricultural
Education and will complete her MS in Ag Ed in Dec 2011.  Jessica has 8
years of experience as a Program Advisor for the TRIO Educational Talent
Search Program at Iowa State University. In this position she supervised and
coordinated program promotion, recruitment, admissions and correspondence.
She coordinated and supervised college visits, cultural education and
educational field trips.  She also collaborated with University personnel to
develop summer recruiting programs.  While at Iowa State University, Jessica
also served as a graduate teaching assistant where she taught lessons on
communication, decision-making, goal setting and public relations. 

 

We are thrilled to have Jessica join our Student Services Team.  Please stop
by her office in MCPRK Rm 203D to introduce yourself.
