Dear Advisors,

Advisor Notes functionality in UAccess has recently been enhanced.  At the
request of the advising community, the ability to spell check has been added
to the comments field for you to use when creating a new advising note. You
will now see the spell check icon immediately to the right of the comment
field when creating a new student note.  

 

An additional feature added based on advisor feedback is a pop-up page
containing student information.  The pop-up displays when the mouse cursor
is hovered over the student name in both new as well as existing advising
notes.  You will now see that the student's name is underlined with a purple
dashed line, which indicates the pop-up is available.  Through discussion
with the advising working group, the following informational fields have
been included in the pop-up:  student name, student email, student phone,
CPP (program/plan/subplan), service indicators, student groups, cum GPA,
academic standing, admit type, and last appointment as recorded by the most
recent advising note that was made.
