Dear CALS students,

 

The University of Arizona is committed to a working and learning environment
defined by civility and mutual respect. In CALS we will not tolerate any
form of discrimination or harassment.

 

All CALS employees are required to do the UA's Sexual Harassment Prevention
Training. We are also requesting that all CALS students complete the
training as well.  It is online and will take about 30 minutes.  In the
future, we will incorporate this training in our freshmen level colloquia
and workshops.  We expect all CALS students to do your part in the awareness
of the prevention of sexual harassment.

If you haven't already done this, please do so by the end of the semester.
Although this training focuses primarily on sexual harassment, the
principles it teaches can be applied to all forms of harassment. Not only is
it important that we maintain a harassment-free College, but it is essential
that everyone understand our personal responsibility and liability as well
as ensuring we do all we can to educate ourselves about harassment. After
you have done the training, please print and sign the certificate you will
receive and then submit it to your either your academic advisor or to the
Office of Academic Programs in Forbes 211  to be kept on file.
