Dear Advisors:

 

It was good to see many of you at today's symposium.  And my thanks to the
Planning Committee for bringing UA and PCC together for this wonderful
event.

 

It came to my attention that some advisors were not aware that the Degree
Search Website is in fact live.  It's still in need of changes and
improvements but, which is why we have not promoted it aggressively, but it
is live.  The URL is www.degreesearch.arizona.edu.  Since we started
tracking usage in early November, we have received 1,000 unique hits per day
with the majority of those hits coming from Tucson, Phoenix, and California.


 

I have also attached a flyer that I handed out during lunch at the symposium
today, but in case you couldn't be there, you may view it electronically.
The flyer also includes information about features that are coming soon on
the Website.

 

Also, Kathy Godwin and I will be presenting Degree Tracker tomorrow:  this
is the part of the project where we've customized the four-year plan for
each student within UAccess Student.  I hope you will be able to attend and
see the demonstration of where we are at with this exciting new product.
