[Agvisors] UA Advising Travel Grants - application deadline is September 2

Consider applying for one of the $600 travel grants..(for conferences,
workshops, symposiums you plan to attend)

 

The UA Advising Resource Center Travel Grant:  The travel grant application
deadline is extended one week, from August 26 to September 2nd.  We have
several $600 grants which covers approximately one-half the total cost to
attend the national NACADA conference in early October.  The applicaiton
link is on the ARC website at:

%202011.pdf   First priority is given to individuals new to advising.  Once
the deadline passes, an adhoc committee will be gathered to review the
applications.  In the past couple of application rounds we were able to fund
all of the applicants so we haven't needed a committee for some time.  This
would also be why the application deadline has been extended; to date, we
have received one application.
