</o:shapelayout></xml><![endif]--></head><body lang=EN-US link=blue vlink=purple><div class=WordSection1><p class=MsoNormal><span style='font-family:"Arial","sans-serif"'>The V-V Experimental Ranch and Arizona Cooperative Extension are hosting the third in a series of four Centennial events - the Northern Arizona Centennial Celebration, <b>Thursday, July 24</b> at the V-V Experimental Ranch at Mahan Park.<o:p></o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='font-family:"Arial","sans-serif"'><o:p> </o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='font-family:"Arial","sans-serif"'>The celebration begins at 9:30 a.m. and the morning program will include recognition of influential contributors to Arizona agriculture, families, and communities over the last 100 years. The morning program will also highlight significant research and management of Arizona's forests for the last 100 years and beyond, describe the history and impact of the Arizona Tree Ring Lab, and discuss Arizona climate trends in the past and into the future. Following a BBQ lunch, there will be a two-hour afternoon session with hands on learning and demonstrations on various topics from home canning and remote sensing to Native American food production and forest health.
