Campbell Avenue, Tucson, for the position of Associate Director and Associate-Full Research Scientist. This position is part of a university wide environmental hiring initiative with partial funding support from the TRIF Water, Environmental and Energy Solutions initiative. The seminar title is <b>Fine-scale Environmental Modeling and its Applications to Policy Issues by </b>Dr. Joseph Zehnder, Professor and Chair Department of Atmospheric Sciences, Creighton University, Omaha. Dr. Zehnder has held previous faculty positions at UA and ASU and his talk will present an overview of methods used to provide short to medium range, high-resolution forecasts of environmental parameters such as wind, pressure, temperature and precipitation.
