Call for posters

Centennial Celebration Poster Session

This is the first and final call for posters to be displayed at the Third Centennial Celebration Event July 24, 2014 at the V-V.

The venue for this event is outdoors with several large canopies. We will be securing the posters to wires hung between the canopy posts.

The rules:

1. The posters should relate to Extension work you have been doing or plan to do.
2. The posters will be clipped to two horizontal wires 42" apart strung between the vertical posts that are holding up the canopies. With this in mind: If the wind is strong there is a very good chance that the posters will be damaged and if we get vertical rain and wind they will probably get destroyed.
3. The maximum width of the poster should be 48".
4. The height of the poster must be at least 42". Taller posters will hang below the bottom wire and will only have two clips to hold them to the bottom wire.
5. Bring at least 10 binder clips to attach your poster(s) to the wires.
6. Send Tom DeGomez (degomez at ag.arizona.edu) the title of your poster(s) by July 17.
7. You may not hold myself or anyone else on the celebration committee responsible if the weather damages your poster.
8. You do not have to be present to display a poster. If you will not be attending with your poster - either send it with a colleague or mail in to me at the address below by July 21. Posters mailed to me will be sent back to campus following the event for pickup there. Please include sufficient binder clips for your poster.
9. This is not a peer reviewed poster session. There will not be a meeting proceedings listing the titles and authors of the posters.
10. There is not a designated time for the poster session. Posters must be put up before 9:30 am and removed before 3:15 pm.
