CALS & Extension Faculty, Staff & Administrators,

The 2014 Southwest Ag Summit and Yuma Ag Tour Centennial Event is a little
over two weeks away and we still have openings available for the Yuma Ag
Tour, February 26-27. My office is sponsoring the Yuma Ag Tour event and we
have been able to extend the sign up deadline for lodging and bus
reservations until next Monday, February 18.

Our tour event has been purposely scheduled in conjunction with the Ag
Summit so that participants at that event could join our Yuma Ag Tour. All
CALS and Extension faculty, staff and administrators are invited to join our
tour which includes bus transportation to and from Yuma, a one night hotel
stay (Best Western Coronado, which we will reserve) and a pre-tour lunch.
Additional meals will be provided as part of your registration for the
Summit (which is required and can be done at the Yuma Ag Summit website
<https://www.swagsummit.com/> ). Registration for the Summit is $75.

The general itinerary will be:

February 26

. Depart UA Main Campus (7:00am)

. Arrive Yuma for lunch and afternoon field tour(12-4:15pm)

. Check into hotel (4:15-4:45pm)

. Attend Ag Summit reception at Arizona Western College (5:30pm)

. Return to hotel - evening free

February 27

. Early hotel check out and attend SW Ag Summit (7:00am-3:30pm -
includes breakfast and lunch)

. Return travel to Tucson/UA Main Campus (4:00-9:00pm)

PLEASE NOTE: The Harvest Dinner (noted on the Yuma Ag Summit agenda for the
evening of February 27) is not part of the general Summit registration and
if you are taking the Ag Tour bus, it will leave for Tucson before the
Harvest Dinner.
